Hello again everyone...thank you for coming to my little corner of the world. Before going full steam ahead on the Air Supply CD, I made a vow to myself to complete the children's project, 'Petalbump' before sunset on March 21st,as that is when the show is set. I am glad to say it was finished on time and I am so excited that the show will be opening October this year for the first time. We have several dates held at the Rose Wagner Theatre in Salt Lake City which is a small, but exquisite theatre in the heart of downtown. When the dates are confirmed we will announce it immediately for those that want to secure seats for the historic event!
'Petalbump' is a children's musical/dance that will also be performed by children, with two adults also. We are currently in the middle of auditions and we are so surprised at the level of talent for such young children. Of course the show is for adults too! The show is approximately 1 1/2 hours in 2 acts and the music was written by myself and Jed, and contains many different genres. We have been working on this for almost 10 yeasrs, so you can imagine how excited we are that it is finally going onstage! The show also encompasses several variteies of dance from lyrical, ballet, ballroom, jazz and hip-hop!
The story of 'Petalbump' we are hoping will be a series of Children's books and the soundtrack will be availabele before we open in October.
Of course I would love to have as many Air Supply fans at the opening as possible so keep an eye on my page for updates.
Thats all for now...love,
Graham

Hello everyone,
Thanks for coming to my page! As you know we have just returned from Curacao and Aruba where I did not open the show as there was already two other acts on the bill. I will be resuming my little set in Corpus Christi of course. I must say I am really enjoying doing my three solo songs and it's nice to hear the audience begin to sing with me.
So many people have attached themselves to different songs which I find really interesting, however the two songs that media are talking about consistently are "Let Yourself Go" and "Save The World". I am now looking at video scenarios for both of these songs. It's quite the challenge coming up with ideas for visuals, especially since both songs are so different!
I have been invited to appear on Good Morning Phoenix in July which I am looking forward to, I will be playing live too.
The response to the album is building every day and very solidly. I remember talking to James Blunt who said it took his album 18 months to finally break through!
Once again I want to thank all of you for making this journey such a beautiful one, who knows where it will go. I will be swapping my set around soon too and playing "Save the World" and possibly "Fall With You".
I will be spending our time off in June working as composer on a small independant film called, Reflections in the Mud. The soundtrack will feature several brand new songs - three of which I have already recorded. One in particualr is sung by Stina and is called, "Runaway" and is one of her most brilliant performanaces. Another new song , "Me and the River" is another Celtic inspired song with myself, Meagan Olsen and possibly newcomer, Brandie Frampton singing.
Lots of different things happening to keep the juices flowing!
On May 7th, we were fortunate enough to see Loreena McKennitt live in Salt Lake City. I have been a fan of her records for a long time, but seeing her live was a whole different experience. It was truly one of the greatest shows I have ever seen - up there with McCartney, James Blunt and Peter Gabriel. After meeting her backstage, her gracious and unique personality left us in awe and truly inspired!
That's all the news for now - love to you all

Hello Everyone,
Thanks for stopping by. I'm sure most of you have heard 'The Future' Cd by now and have discovered your favorite tracks!
The reviews coming in have been phenomenal so far and people are going for very different tracks. The CD is getting a great reception, much quicker and more intense that I had first hoped.
Making the album was certainly a labour of love for me and now the hard work takes a new shape as I bring it to as many people as possible. The general release world wide will be two months behind the US and in June I will be beginning a three week intensive promotional tour worldwide, focusing on early morning radio and TV. I will be playing live too at every opportunity!
The show on the 14th of April was one of those great evenings that was such a thrill to witness. The outdoor theatre was flanked by ancient red rocks that towered into the sky. When I went on for my solo spot, I began as usual with 'The Future' when the song was finished, the wind came up and blew over the radio antennas and I lost all sound to my ears, so I just carried on hearing only the front of house. It was a precarious moment, but only added to the magic and majesty of the whole show that was standing room only.
I will also be performing on ABC Chicago on May 11th in the morning. Russell and I will also be singing a song together.
It's nice to be doing all the radio and TV again, it reminds me of the early 80's when we did everything! Every day something very positive happens for the album and I want to thank all of you for making that possible and for accepting it for what it is.
I look forward to playing and singing for you everywhere I can. See you at the shows.
Love,
Graham

Hello Everyone,
On February 14th at Harrah's Casino in Kansas City, Air Supply had a knock-out show and for the first time I opened the evening with three songs from my upcoming album. I performed, 'Make You Mine', 'The Future' and 'Lace & Leather' to a sold out and incredibly receptive audience. I won't deny that the first time in years I was a little nervous, but as I stepped onto the stage that energy turned into excitement and exhilaration. I am opening at all shows wherever time allows throughout the year and around the world and I look forward to presenting something new for everyone, which I feel will add a new dimension to the already terrific Air Supply show.
A free pre-release download of one of the album's songs called 'Lace & Leather' will be available to everyone on March 1st.

NOVEMBER 25, 2006
Hello Everyone,
Thank you for coming to my small part of the Universe. The ending of the year is always very reflective for everyone. Did we do what we said we would do? Did we keep our promises we made to ourselves? I have wanted to create a solo CD for some time, probably since 'The Heart of the Rose' CD was finished some years ago, although that was much more a collection of singers than a solo project.
The songs on my solo CD, 'The Future' coming out early 2007 are a collection of 11 songs that seemed like they belonged together from the very first moment of the project. The songs are quite varied, ranging from very simple production on 'This Time' to a more epic sound as on 'Our Love' on which the voice of Stina is featured with me in a duet. Although Stina really takes the spotlight on that song! As on the Air Supply albums I used Jonni, Mike and Jed, but did play a lot of the instruments myself only because I happened to be on the spot, of course.
Russell sang on 'Save the World' which is a brief look at life in the 21st century, a little bit of this and a little bit of that, but just enough to keep our feet wet, as we rush from A to B, but never quite get to C!
'Let Yourself Go' is a feel good song that says sometimes you just have to stop everything and live, or dance and laugh for a while!
As we get closer to the end of the year, I will post all the lyrics to the songs and pick a song for you as a download. Remember that this project will in no way affect any Air Supply shows or plans! This is just a part of me I needed to address, rather like the 'Celestine Travelers' CD, which I am in love with all over again!
The Heart of the Rose presentation in Chicago was superb. We performed 8 songs to a very small intimate audience to raise the necessary capital to launch the show. It certainly proved that the show will work onstage. To see the characters come alive was an incredible feeling. I will keep you updated as our progress continues. The Heart of the Rose site is presently under construction and will be uploaded in a few days.
I wish you a great and happy beginning of the holiday season. Thank you for visiting my page.
Love,
Hello Everyone,
As you know, we have been off the road for six weeks, but as you are probably not aware I have been in the studio for most of that time working on new songs and finding my inspiration for the year ahead. Both came in plentiful supply as you will hear later this year!
For me, one of the highlights recently was seeing James Blunt live in Salt Lake City, and Jodi and I spending the evening with James and his band talking about songwriting, the road, sudden fame and just about everything. I've crossed paths with a lot of people over the years who are in show business, and James and his band are five of the most genuine I have ever met!
The 'live' show was mesmerizing, unforgettable and deeply inspiring, as is his CD. If you haven't got it yet, you should! What was really refreshing was to hear great songs returning to the general consciousness. It certainly feels like it's time for a renaissance in music, let's hope it's here!
Thanks again for taking the time to read this collection of thoughts and words, I will be posting new ones, so keep checking back...that's a promise!
Love,
The Tall Guy
These are words from the ‘Song’ which really is the perfect alter ego for me, being the songwriter for a famous band!
For those that are visiting the site for the first time I am the tall one, and it is strange that I have the same name as Russell. Perhaps we are the duality that just is and that is why it works, like the Singer and the Song.
Welcome to a corner of my mind which there are many! It is not so much that I love songs, but more, do I love the passion behind them - when the thought and the feeling are so intense they are forced into action through the sheer joy of being. A song is surely a cloud that floats across the imagination and we either enjoy the ride or watch it as it evolves and changes. And with it also our lives…I like to do both!
Transcendence, transformation - close your eyes! A lot of musicians close their eyes when they play. I try not to because I don’t want to shut anyone out, but sometimes there is no choice, you are gone on that cloud, it has taken you out of time…Sweet Dreams!
Transmutation - in Medieval times that was the process of turning lead into gold by the alchemist, a superb metaphor for changing the sunken spirit into a brilliant winged orb. Perhaps this transmutation is possible if suddenly we could be aware of oneself and to know how beautiful we all are when we allow love to enter our being…Don’t Be Afraid! You won’t fall off the cloud it will only fall from you if you stop seeing it.
If you haven’t been to a live show yet, I am very happy and excited for you because when you do, you will transform. You will get Lost in Love - we do every night when we play.
People that don’t know too much about love think it is quiet, soft, whispers and sunsets. Well it is, but it is also loud, thunderous and everything you thought it wasn’t…A Little Bit of Everything! Perhaps love is the experience of not knowing - that is the beauty of it. It’s so simple! We don’t need to know, only to not know. We cannot know - if we did, it could not be what it is - only what it was! So come to a show and we will all ‘not know’ together. Listening to the CDs is the beginning, and beginnings are beautiful too.
“So did we share some of those feelings, are you staring at the ceiling, did my heart find a way inside your head, do your eyes feel like lead?” That’s part of a new song you will be hearing in the new show next year, actually next month!
It is rumored we will be playing ‘Power of Love’ and ‘Just As I Am’ after 20 years. We’re giving some of the older songs a dusting off perhaps it is time.
See you at the shows.
Love from the Song
