APRIL 15, 2008
Hello Everyone,
First of all I would like to answer the question that everyone seems to be asking, and that is when the new studio Cd will be here?!? It will certainly be completed and available this year and most likely at the end of the summer. The reason for the delay is that new songs keep getting added that changes the concept slightly and we need good stretches of time to record, when all of our equipment is available and not on the road.
The concept for the new album is till the same, the story of 'ZED', but the title seems to be changing to 'Mumbo Jumbo' which is one of the tracks. Other songs on the album are 'Faith in Love' -' A Little Bit of Everything' and 'Remember Me' which we played live some time ago.
The compilation CD of some of our favorite love songs called, 'Free Love' is now available and made its debut this weekend in Booneville, MO at the Isle of Capri and the Trump Marina in Atlantic City. Needless to say the CD sold out immediately to a great response! Everyone is very happy with the new eco-green packaging.
This last week was a bitter sweet time for Jonni, our bass player whose mother, Sharlene passed away on April 9th. Sharlene was a huge Air Supply fan and an incredible woman, she will be missed dearly. However, her passing will forever be remembered in a beautiful way, as Jonni's son, Julian was born April 13th and Mother and son are doing great. We all wish the Lightfoots our most sincere congratulations!
On the 9th of April, we taped the quiz show, 'Rock and a Hard Place' in Los Angeles with Meatloaf,
which is to be aired this fall. It was a lot of fun and we were joined by Mike on the panel and played against Quiet Riot, who were great guys. Both teams raised several thousands of dollars for charity! We will keep you posted to when it will air.
We are beginning a comprehensive Asian tour beginning June that will begin in Macau and end in Israel in July. (the countries and dates will be posted on the tour page). We will be visiting several countries that we have not been to for several years including several shows in the Philippines and Malaysia.
Thank you for all the great comments about the video we present before the show at venues that have screens, it adds another dimension to our live performance we feel.
It was great to play with Cliff Rehrig again this past weekend. He stood in for Jonni and brought back a lot of memories for us all. Cliff never missed a beat as usual! Jonni will resume in Halifax, Nova Scotia next week. We are looking forward also to playing St. Lucia on May 9th for the first time. We seem to be playing some very interesting and different shows this year!
That's all the news for the moment. We wish you all health, happiness and success and look forward to seeing you at the shows.
Love,
Graham
Our on-line store will be temporarily closed for renovations - sorry for any inconvenience.

JANUARY 30, 2008
Hello Everyone,
Firstly, we hope you are having a prosperous new year. We have just returned from a sold out tour in Brazil which was incredible, we had not been there for 14 years. On the way back we also played Detroit. The weather was bitter cold but the audience reception was white hot!
On the 25th, we played Wendover, Nevada which was once again S.R.O. At this show, we filmed backstage footage and also sound check which we will be showing at every show about 20 minutes before showtime, providing the venue has screens.
Also, one hour before showtime at every venue, our walk-in music will be our new CD, Free Love. This CD is a collection of Russell's and my own favorite songs from the last few years. They were specifically selected as a 'lovers only' CD for two people that want to perhaps stay in, be alone and enjoy each other's company! The songs create a beautiful lovers environment - we think anyway!
The songs on the album are different versions of the ones you may know. The track list is as follows -
The Book Of Love
Let's Stay Together Tonight
Why Don't You Come Over
I Can't Stop the Rain
Daybreak
Don't Tell Me
When I Say
I Want You
Yours Truly
You Are The Reason
Always
It's Never Too Late
Only One Forever
The Way I Feel
I'll Be Thinking Of You
We hope you enjoy our picks and the new takes on the songs! The CD is meant to be played from top to bottom, for the complete vibe!
We are now on our way to Austin to play a show with the Symphony, it will be fab! Then it's off to V ancouver for 4 shows. We look forward to seeing you all soon at the shows.
Love,
Graham and Russell
p.s. I Want To Give It All is back in the set and getting great response!
Hi Everyone
We are at the end of yet another great year on the road. Our final shows at B.B. Kings in New York City were probably three of the best this year. This year was one of the busiest in our history an apart from seeing so many of you again all over the United States, we had the opportunity to visit Europe playing multiple cities in England, Ireland, Germany and Italy. It was particularly exciting for us to play dates in England as of course it's Graham's homeland and it really was wonderful to see him onstage playing not only to friends and family, but also new Air Supply fans.
Ireland, once again was great as "Vicar Street" ( the venue in Dublin) sold out for the second consecutive time and both Graham and I were presented with gifts from the promoter to celebrate the occasion. We also had the opportunity to play in Castlebar, Ireland. It's a quaint, ancient city about four hours drive from Dublin with great architecture and an old cemetery that I had the chance to stroll around and explore. Some of the old headstones were really fascinating!
Our first concerts ever in Germany and Italy were thoroughly enjoyed by the Air Supply fans that came along and added yet another great experience for all of us, being able to enjoy both the concerts and the very distinct cultures of the countries we visited.
Our travels took us back to Japan where we played an exhausting but fullfilling sixteen shows in ten days. Japan has always been a favorite of ours and it was great to spend time there again.
We travelled to Macao where we played two nights at the Sands casino. The venue there is beautiful. 5,000 seats ( sold out both nights) and the hotel is fantastic. The difference between this trip and the last one was simply amazing. The city is expanding in leaps and bounds with all the top names in Las Vegas hotels being represented. Graham and I were also invited to see the Chinese National basketball Team play the Houston Rockets in an exhibition game. We were able to sit on the floor to watch the game and being that close to the action was very cool. The following day, some of the guys in the band and crew went to see Houson play Cleveland, a great treat for all of us.
Our shows this year in the United States gave us tremndous satisfaction and I think we maintained a high standard all throughout the year. Though the schedule may be tough sometimes and the travel tiring, we always come to play and give you the best of our energy and talents and I hope that we accomplised that for all of you in 2007.
We have some exciting things in the works for 2008. We all wish you only the best for the Holidyas and for a prosperous New Year. We would not be able to do any of this without your support and once again thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all that you do for us.
Be safe !
Happy Holidays !
Lots of Love
Russell
